Crowns are routinely used in dentistry to repair damaged and decay-ridden teeth, but also to restore a natural and healthy-looking appearance. We use only the best materials to make bespoke crowns for our patients – E-Max and zirconia ceramics. The quality and strength of E-max and zirconia crowns are unrivalled. Not only are they ideal for patients who are looking for a premium aesthetic result for their new crown, they also tick the durability and strength boxes.

Examination

We’ll begin by examining your case and outlining your options so we can get a clear picture of how to plan your treatment.

Step 2

Preparation

A local anaesthetic is used to numb the tooth and the area surrounding it, so you won’t feel any discomfort during the process. We will remove a proportion of your tooth, so that the crown is a good fit over the top. We will then take digital impressions of the neighboring teeth and the tooth that’s going to receive the crown, so we can accurately emulate the appearance of a real tooth that belongs as part of your unique smile. This is also achieved by identifying the right shape, contours and shade that will be the best fit for your smile. Whilst your new crown is being made we will fit you with a temporary crown.

Step 3

Your new crown

Once your new crown is made, we can ask you to come in for a fitting appointment. You’ll be able to see your beautiful new crown for the first time, and we will make any small necessary adjustments once it is secured in place.

Our cutting-edge digital method of taking impressions means a more streamlined, comfortable and faster crowns journey. If you’ve ever had a manual impression, you will know the strife of having to bite down on gloopy impression material, that can often induce a gag reflex. Thanks to digital impressions, this is not necessary at Complex Smile.

Our digital planning software also allows us to see high resolution images of your teeth, giving us the ability to plan your treatment and design your new crown with a high level of accuracy. The scanner is able to accurately determine the optimal tooth shade, providing the dental lab with excellent material with which to work when they create your new crown.

Amazing dental clinic starting from receptionist and finishing with Dr. Karolina Kraujelytė, she’s done amazing job literally saving the tooth which likely needed to be extracted, can’t thank enough. I came at complex smile for just one implant after checking 3 different clinics.. I had an absolutely great experience. I have chosen Complex smile because the specialist goes straight to the point, no one in the clinic is wasting their time about trying to sell you treatment you didn't come for. Even when I had an emergency 2 days before Christmas the specialist did everything to see me at the clinic despite he was on holidays. I live now on the other side of the city but I will keep them for my regular hygiene check. Thank you so much for everything, I can finally now eat normally !
