Why is Complex Smile Implant Centre different from other practices?

The values underpinning Complex Smile Implant Centre are honesty, evolution and quality. He believes in a personable approach, getting to know patients’ oral health concerns and the emotional struggles that can accompany these. The struggles patients endure as a result of living with missing or failing teeth is something Dr Rokas feels very passionate about, and which has driven him to make it his vocation to transform patients’ confidence and happiness, in addition to their oral health.

As an expert on tooth replacement treatment with dental implants, Dr Rokas and his team’s focus is about being thorough and streamlined.

Thanks to the digitised planning process, patients are able to immediately receive place a new set of temporary teeth, right after surgery has been carried out. In addition to being renowned for our implant treatment planning and placement services, we offer a full range of dental services - from root canal treatment and fillings, to hygienist services, veneers and crowns. With this in mind, patients are able to address multiple dental and oral hygiene concerns, under the same reliable, professional and friendly roof here in London.

We offer some of the most competitive prices in London, with no compromise on quality and speed of treatment and level of care and attention to detail.

How are fixed teeth the perfect alternative to dentures?

The possibility of getting fixed teeth on the same day as surgery, using the in-house lab and our ability to design and manufacture a set of fixed teeth (on the same day as the diseased teeth are removed) is appealing to anyone looking for fixed teeth as opposed to removable teeth.

Dental implant-centered treatments also help to preserve the life of the jawbone, which would otherwise recede away through lack of use. Read more about how dental implants achieve this here.

Why choose Complex Smile Implant Centre “Smile in a Day” solution?

Smile in a Day is a revolutionary treatment that has reduced appointments and overall treatment time for patients wishing to replace missing teeth with implants and a fixed bridge. The Smile in a Day concept does exactly what it suggests, which is to deliver a new smile, in just one day.

Once a consultation visit has established your suitability for treatment, the next visit involves having surgery to extract any failing teeth, or to place the dental implants, and allow the jaw to heal. With the advanced technology and techniques available to us in dentistry today, we’re able to replace a temporary bridge straight away, which means you won’t need to worry about being without teeth at any stage during your treatment.

As we place dental implants without making any incisions, follow-up visits are not necessary in the majority of cases, saving you time and hassle.

What is the difference between “Smile in a day”, “Smile in a day +” and “Smile in a day Pro+”?

To accommodate the needs and preferences of different patients, we offer 3 different packages for replacing missing teeth with dental implants, in just a single appointment:

Smile in a Day:

This package includes:

  • Sedation services.
  • Extraction of teeth, if necessary.,
  • Placement of 4 or 6 implants, depending on your unique case.
  • Provisional bridge placed immediately after surgery. This can be worn for up to 1 year.

We recommend this package for patients who are looking for the most cost-friendly way to pay for their treatment.

Smile in a Day allows patients who have opted for finance to save up for a permanent bridge, once the year-long provisional bridge-wearing period has ended. Alternatively, we can extend your initial finance agreement to include spreading the cost of your permanent bridge, after the year-long provisional bridge-wearing period has ended.

Treatment is also ideal if you’re unsure what kind of bridge you might like eventually, with the year-long healing period giving you the time you may need to decide upon the materials you would like for your bridge. We’re always looking to make things flexible and simple for our patients.

Smile in a Day +

This package includes:

  • Sedation services.
  • Extraction of teeth, if necessary.,
  • Placement of 4 or 6 implants, depending on your unique case.
  • Provisional bridge placed immediately after surgery. This can be worn for up to 1 year.
  • Permanent metal and acrylic permanent bridge fitted post-healing period. This is a cost-effective option for patients looking to have a durable and functional bridge. Metal and acrylic amalgamation achieve a pleasing aesthetic result and remain a popular choices of material.

Smile in a Day Pro+

This package includes:

  • Sedation services.
  • Extraction of teeth, if necessary.,
  • Placement of 4 or 6 implants, depending on your unique case.
  • Provisional bridge placed immediately after surgery. This can be worn for up to 1 year.
  • Zirconium metal-free permanent bridge fitted post-healing period. These materials are the stand-out option for patients looking for the most durable, cosmetic and functional bridge available to them. Zirconium is also extremely biocompatible, making allergic reactions rare. This means they’re a viable choice for patients who have a metal allergy, or who simply prefer not to have metal present in their mouths.

What happens at your first consultation?

One of the (many!) great things about Smile in a Day, is that it’s suitable for a breadth of cases. Even if you may have previously been told you’re unsuitable for dental implants, we strongly recommend coming into see us for a consultation, as the versatility of Smile in a Day means it’s even suitable for patients with very low bone density.

During your consultation, we will perform a full and detailed examination of your mouth and use CT scans and 3D images to prepare an accurate analysis of your exact bone condition and to lay out the methods we can use to restore your smile. This cutting-edge digitised software also gives us the means to plan for every possible outcome, leaving nothing to chance during any stage of your treatment.

We’ll then clearly explain the plan to you (in layman’s terms as we know our patients aren’t dentists!) and outline the costs involved, with full transparency.

Once your consultation is complete, we will ask you to speak with our treatment coordinator, who can outline the finance options that are available, should you wish to spread the cost of your treatment. We can help you to complete the application at this time and go through the different phases of the treatment journey with you, to make sure you are fully aware of what this entails. The treatment coordinator can book you in for surgery day, bringing you one step closer to a new and healthy set of teeth.

Do you do general dentistry appointments as well?

Yes. We can perform routine dentist check-ups, to help you keep on top of your dental health.

How many appointments does it take to complete “Smile in a Day”?

We are able to perform the full Smile in a Day treatment in just 3 appointments. Read more about the Smile in a Day journey here.

How can the dental implants be placed at the same time as removing teeth?

In the majority of cases, the prime moment to place the implants is when you are also having teeth removed. This is because your body will be drawing on the same healing properties after the removal of the teeth, as well as the process whereby the jawbone integrates with your implants.

Is it better to have 4 or 6 implants?

Once we have assessed your mouth and the health of your jawbone, we can identify whether 4 or 6 implants per jaw are suitable. Treatment cost will not be affected by the number of implants we need to use to achieve the predicated treatment outcome.

What if I need a bone graft?

In cases when patients don’t have enough jawbone to support 4 implants, we may look at performing a bone graft or a sinus lift, and then using 6 implants to secure a full arch of teeth. These procedures use either your own bone or donor bone, to build up bone in the jaw, so that it’s able to support dental implants.

Long-term denture-wearers and patients who have been living with multiple missing teeth for a number of years commonly don’t have enough bone to support implants, and may be candidates for surgical procedures like a bone graft or a sinus lift.

Is dental implant treatment painful?

Dental implant treatment surgery is carried out under local anaesthetic and sedation. This means you won’t feel any pain during the procedure and the effects of sedation will help you to feel calm and relaxed throughout.

Do you do sedation?

We can offer 2 types of sedation, both of which induce a relaxed, drowsy and amnesic state. Oral and intravenous (IV) sedation are commonly used for procedures such as the placement of implants. Whilst under the effects of sedation, you will still be awake and able to communicate with the dentist. Unlike many practices, we have an in-house seditionist who works closely with our experienced dentists every single day.

Can I pay in monthly installments?

Yes. We offer 0% finance with no need for a deposit, so you can spread the cost of your treatment if you wish. Read more about our finance options here.
